The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and M3 Federal Contract Practice Group,
LLC will present a Government Contracting Workshop Series in Tampa,
Florida on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 and in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on
Thursday, November 1st, 2007.
These workshops will host experts in government contracting, U.S.
Chamber professionals, and government subcontracting buyers from Fortune
500 companies.
Each intense, highly interactive one day course delivers the knowledge,
tactics, and resources that have helped companies compete successfully in
the government arena. Attendees will learn how to effectively research
contract opportunities and government agencies and then how to develop
strategies to gain and increase business. Take home materials include an

Keynote Speaker - Patrick Malyszek, President, M3 Federal Contract
Practice Group, LLC
Malyszek is a leading expert on doing business with the government. His
extensive procurement knowledge and experience has successfully served
large prime contractors and subcontractors, as well as, small
disadvantaged companies, 8A, veteran, and women owned businesses.
Malyszek, JD has worked in the federal procurement industry for over 25
years and has a successful blend of experience with contract management,
subcontract management, procedural planning, project management, claim
resolution, and regulatory compliance. Malyszek was an apprentice to a
Judge Advocate General for 15 years, serving as a contract analyst,
contract manager, procurement specialist, negotiator, subcontract expert,
import/export specialist, project manager, and termination expert.
Malyszek is also a certified “Train the Trainer”, and a certified teaming
agreement expert. He has created and conducted numerous government
contracting seminars and workshops for both private
companies and government agencies.
Breakout Speaker - Ann Beauchesne, Executive Director, United States Chamber of Commerce
Ann M. Beauchesne heads the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Homeland Security
Division, which works to achieve increased homeland security while
maintaining the openness and mobility that are critical to our economy.
She is the principal spokesperson on homeland security issues and is
responsible for building and maintaining relationships with administration
and regulatory agency leaders. In addition, Beauchesne is responsible for
developing the organization’s overall homeland security policy strategy
and fostering public-private sector partnerships to help ensure that
subsequent policy is not detrimental to the private sector and the
economy. Before joining the Chamber, Beauchesne worked for the National
Governor’s Association (NGA) where she held a variety of positions,
including policy analyst in the Natural Resources Division and program
director of Emergency Management and Environment. She also served as NGA’s
first director of the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division,
identifying policy priorities for governors and their homeland security
advisors.
